Stress and Sleep

I must be stressed, I haven't been able to sleep. It is hot, and I can't sleep when it is hot. I am worried about money and I am getting married in less than 2 months. I am very excited about getting married. But, I can't turn off my brain to sleep, thinking about all the details. Lord help me sleep.

Pete's deployed

Pete is deployed. The anticipation of his leaving was a lot harder than him being gone. Hopefull he will be back in less than a month now. With him gone, I am a little bored. I might get a second job in the afternoon. I get off work at 2:45pm and I might work from 3 to 6 or 7. I could use the extra income since Pete and I are talking about getting married this summer! Yea! I get to sub for 3 weeks for one teacher at the beginning of the semester. I am excited about that. It is good experience and they will basically be my class for 3 weeks, especially if I have to do all the grading. But, because it is only 3 weeks and not 21 days, I don't get the pay that ususally comes with all the work that I am going to be doing... Oh, well. It will be good on my resume...

Deployment

Pete's getting deployed :( He was talking about it, how it is fairly soon and I couldn't believe how upset I got. I almost cried several times. I'm not really worried about his safety, but I am really going to miss him. But, I knew when we started dating, this is part of him being in the military. I just didn't think it would hit me this hard.

Thanksgiving

I really had a neat thanksgiving. My boyfriend's parents came up. I got to meet them and they are really nice. So, for thanksgiving, Pete's parents came over, so his mom could bake a pie. Then after Pete arrived, we went to a friend of my families house. I was great fun. There were 29 people there, 4 different families. Pete's mom said she really enjoyed herself. We also celebrated Pete' birthday when his parents were here. We all went out for dinner and his mom bought him these little gifts to open at dinner, he had already gotten a big gift. But, his mom got me something too... She wrote me a nice card with a beautiful pair of ear rings. Very Sweet!! Thank you Lord for blessing our thanksgiving!
